the ladies

i was mainly unimpressed. four of them were really good, the rest were all average.

vonzell solomon went first, and i didn't think it was all that great, until about halfway through the show when i started to realize that it wasn't really gonna get that much better. shes moving on.

aloha mischeaux(by the way, i'm not just making up these names, i swear!) was last, and she can blow, dawg!

carrie underwood has a twang, but in a good way. she could make it to the end.

nadia turner was my favorite. another rocker, she belted out her song and made the rest look sorta like chumps on star search. she'll be in the top six, no doubt.

it's really hard to figure out who'll get the boot this week, cause i think aside from the above, they were all stunningly average, no one really stood out, and no one really sucked hard.

celena rae was decent. she got better as the song went on.

sarah mather was okay. she looks a little like michelle pfeiffer(how the fuck do you spell that?) with dark hair, so i wouldn't mind if she stuck around for a few more weeks.

janay castine was nervous as hell and kind of shaky, but she's really young and has a good voice, so i hope she gets another shot.

i don't know how to feel about mikalah gordon. she can sing, but she sounds EXACTLY like fran drescher when she talks, and thats just not a good thing. however, she will land the title role when they make "The Nanny" movie in 10 years.

lindsey cardinale is just alright. deep voice, which is kinda cool.

jessica sierra wasn't good, but she has a decent voice and was better before. could have been nerves. randy will be upset if she gets booted. plus she has the best "most embarassing moment":
"When I was in fifth grade, I was reading a report out loud in front of the class. I dropped the paper, but when I bent over to pick it up, I let out the loudest fart of my life. Needless to say, I cleared out the entire class. (We took recess a little early that day)"

melinda lira. i thought she was terrible, but the judges went very easy on her. this makes me think that they know she can sing and just wanted to make sure she had another chance. i don't want her to have one, but i'll think she'll squeak by.

amanda avila wasn't good. she's out like ellen degeneres.

i don't think melinda will get voted off. she'd be my pick, but i think it's gonna be amanda and sarah.

i can't wait til they start whittling this down. i can't get any work done when i'm writing this shit all day!
