the sound of a cell door clanging shut

today is my five year "anniversary" here at work. three weeks vacation, baby! i'm about another five years away from being positively european.

i moved out here about five years and six months ago, and when my unemployment was tapped, i got this job. first interview i went on. i was pretty rusty too, working at the same place for about 8 years prior to this.

my only criteria when i was looking was 9-5, weekends off, relatively mindless.

five years later, i'm fucking bored as hell.
but hey, three weeks!
